On Deck--The Minnesota Twins

There isn't much of a positive nature that can be said about the Orioles right now. They are in a seven game losing streak, the offense is catatonic, and the pitching is inconsistent at best. Eventually some of the bats have to wake up. Could the Twins be the team that does that?

Minnesota is in the same boat as the Orioles. They are one of only two teams in the AL with a worse team OPS than the O's .640. Their pitching has been up and down. They have questions in the pen. Matchups are:

Liriano (0-3, 9.42) @ Tillman (0-1, 7.30)

Pavano (1-1, 3.60) @ Arrieta (7.04)

Blackburn (1-2, 3.06) @ Britton (2-1, 2.75)

Baker (0-2, 4.50) @ (Guthrie 1-2, 3.32)

Clay Rapada is joining the Orioles pen. He did a nice job against lefties with Texas last year.
